Hello,
Let me tell you a few things about myself.
I was born in Rumford, ME a long time ago! I have lived here most of my life, except for a few years. My wife, Dottie (without whose help I just might as well hang it up) have six children between us, Jason, Christopher, twins Craig and Kyle, Missy and Shane. We also have 7 grandchildren with one more on the way.
I have been a member of the Eagles since 1986, and have been active since day one. Serving as Worthy President five times and have held most other chairs. The Eagles is a very big part of mine and Dottie’s social life. There can not be a price put on the friendships we have made in our local Aerie and other Aeries across the state and further.
I was one of the lucky ones and retired from Verizon in 1995 at 45 years old. I then followed a life long passion and became an Executive Chef. Now I am fully retired giving me plenty of time to visit all of Maine’s Aeries. I am looking forward to visiting all of you this year as your State Worthy President.
Following a tradition, Rumford will host the State Aerie and Auxiliary Officers and Committee Chairs to an outing on July 17th so we can have fun together.
My hobbies are stamp collecting, which I am very passionate about (yeah, I know ….boring….but I live it).
Theater and music has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have participated/directed children’s theater, High School Theater, community Chorus Theater and semi-professional theater and much to Dottie’s dismay have two pianos in our living room!
It takes lots of time and energy to go through the state chairs but I am glad that with the help of my Aerie and you that I did it. I look forward to serving you as State Worthy President.
Please contact me any time you want to.
Fraternally yours,
Dennis Arsenault, S.W.P.
